Lafayette, California, is a charming suburban city of 25,000 residents located 20 miles east of San Francisco. Known for its picturesque hills, upscale neighborhoods, and excellent schools, Lafayette offers a tranquil environment with abundant outdoor recreation areas like hiking trails and parks.

Moraga is a suburb of about 17,000 residents east of San Francisco just over the Berkeley Hills between the Caldecott Tunnel and Walnut Creek along Highway 24. Along with Lafayette and Orinda, Moraga is part of a group of three similar towns that are nicknamed Lamorinda.

Pleasant Hill is located north and west of Walnut Creek and east of Lafayette. A close knit community perfect for young families, Pleasant Hill is 45 minutes from San Francisco off of Interstate 680. As it is further away from SF and public transportation, property values in Pleasant Hill generally trade at a discount to that of neighboring Lamorinda and Walnut Creek.

The affluent residential community of Alamo is located between the more bustling commercial areas of Walnut Creek and Danville. It’s largely composed of flat estate lots with ranch-style homes and a suburban feel. Alamo is an unincorporated community, and therefore shares many services with its neighbor Danville.

Affectionately known as the heart of the San Ramon Valley, Danville offers the perfect blend of upscale amenities and small town charm. Its quaint character and convenient location 30 miles east of San Francisco make it the perfect place to live, work, and play. Incorporated in 1982, the town comprises 18 square miles, a population of 45,000, and is known for its small town atmosphere and outstanding quality of life.

Martinez is a quaint little waterfront town, tucked in between rolling hills, open space preserves, and the south shore of the Carquinez Strait. Located off of Highway 4 and Interstate 680 south of the Benicia Bridge, it has a small town vibe with a rich history dating back to 1849.
